After an incredibly long evening and night, my parents came to visit today. We went on an invigorating walk and enjoyed the "ohhs" and "ahhs" whenever someone saw the little ones snuggled in their pink and blue blankets. Josiah and Lilly have something mixed up and have started eating half or less of their feeding, zonking out, and then waking up only an hour or so later screaming from discomfort or food. Needless to say, the last 48 hours have been loooooong.
Thankfully, Steve's sister, Michelle came to help out throughout the night. Blearily-eyed and clumsy, the three of us rotated what needed to be done to comfort the babies.
-Thanks again, Michelle!-
Today I saw a commercial for Carnival Cruise line. It said something about getting your "water wedgie" and I started laughing hysterically. Steve and I reminisced about our first cruise last summer; the beautiful scenery, delicious food, and the sense of freedom that anything new grants you. Mom, dad, Steve and I of us tossed around the idea of a family cruise. Wish we could go!
(On a side note, water wedgies are the WORST.)
This evening I tried the camera on Lilly while she was awake and curious. She had the hiccups, so there were several cute pictures that turned out a little blurry from her jumping around. Here are the ones that are in focus.
