I Can't Think of a Title for This One

It was a quiet day.

Josiah pushed through and had several successful bottle feedings overnight, but didn't take any again for Steve and I today. It's interesting trying to reason and rationalize with a 5 week old. It's even funnier watching Steve do it.

I was able to give Lilly a bottle today and felt like a million bucks when she drank every bit, but she didn't take her other one while we were there.

It's hard to explain why not being able to complete their bottles (whether from their fatigue or our inexperience) is such a discouragement for us. Josiah needs to come off the caffeine and develop the physical maturity to stop having the drops in heart rate, etc. Once that happens AND he can take all his bottles via PO (by mouth) he can come home!!!!! Once Lilly completes all her feedings successfully, she can come home!!!!! Every day they just can't make it happen, is another day (or potentially week) they can't be home.

We know, though, the day will come!!!
