Glad to all be outside!

We’ve had rainy day after rainy day this week and were glad to spend the day outside.  We all went to a pool party and (though the water was cold) enjoyed time in the pool and just being outside!

Lilly and Josiah were running all around.  Yes, they slept like rocks when we finally got home for naps!

 

So this was hilarious.  You’ll notice a half-eaten chicken nugget in Noah’s right hand.  He insisted on hanging on to this for whatever reason.  Lunch was long over and he’s walking around carrying a nugget!  I asked him if he was finished and if I could take it but he took the tiniest bite, turned around, and walked away.

He was up against the pool walking around in the fresh mud that happens as water gets splashed out of the pool.  At first (like all stories with kids and mud), it was cute as he tried to figure out how he felt about it.  As he got comfortable, he was playing in it with his hands (and managed to not get the nugget dirty) which was still fine.  It was once he unintentionally wiped his mouth with the dirty hand that he got disgusted:

Bethany has one final week of school left before summer break – it doesn’t take much to imagine the excitement!  We’ve met with a real estate agent and are working on putting the condo on the market.  We’re also preparing for a mid-July camping trip which we are all excited for. 

If the weather’s nice, perhaps we’ll have more pictures tomorrow!

What’s been going on! - Part 1

Believe me, we know how little we’ve shared on the blog over the past few months.  With the excitement of summer coming up, we’ll do better!

So far this year, we’ve had birthday pictures, some pictures outside in the cold, some when it started to warm up, and our Spring Break trip to the train museum.  We had some family pictures taken too:

On our last day of vacation for Spring Break, the kids played at the playground while we got things packed up:

In mid-April, Lilly, Josiah, and I went on a trip to 30th Street Station.  Beth kept the camera but she took a quick picture of us before we left and then some once we were all back home:

A couple days later, we were at a neighborhood park one morning before I went to work:

A few days later, we all went to a park in the afternoon:

The next day, Tim & Michelle cooked a ham to share with everyone at my parents:

That only brings us up to April 21st!  We still have more pictures to share, including a few from our Memorial Day camping trip!
