9 Month Appointment! What? What?
Lilly weights 19 lbs, 14 ounces.
Josiah weights 19 lbs, 4 ounces.
As the pediatrician says, there's NO evidence that these kids were ever preemies! Ha!!!
On all other accounts, they are doing very well. Lilly lags behind in some things while Josiah lags in others. There is some evidence of developmental "delays" however, there's no indication that these will be any real issues. He predicts Josiah will be walking at 11 months and Lilly at 13. We'll see!!!
Sadly, they had to receive some vaccinations and prick in their toes for a blood test. They were champs, though!!!

Wake up at 7 am (this takes some serious convincing for daddy)
Breakfast, playing, and one TV program
Morning nap from 9-10:30/11 am
Playtime, ride and switcher-oo with Grannie B
Lunch at 12:30-1:30
Afternoon nap no later than 1:3o; wake up no later than 4 pm
Playtime and walk outside
Dinner at 5/5:30
Playtime, bath, and BED at 6:30/7 pm
And, YES! They're finally sleeping through the night!!!!! They are sleeping in different rooms for the time being and on occasion cry themselves to sleep on nights when they're too restless.
So for all those parents who don't know where to begin, we suggest that you begin with a book that was given to us, "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child" by Marc Weissbluth. Not saying it's the bible of baby books, but it has been very helpful.

You Heard Right
Yes, this is my second post of the day! After (what is for us) a long blog absence of several days, I've managed to find time to sit at my computer TWICE!
The weather was GORGEOUS today and so after stopping at Target for a few things, we stopped at a local elementary school and "played" on the playground with the twins.
I've just gotta say...
These kids are so stinkin' cute.
There's just no way around it.
We were going to head to Sam's Club to get several more things but after weeks of sleepless nights, we're desperate for a change. We are trying a new schedule with them (which I'll include in a later post for any other sleep-deprived parents) which forced us to return home earlier than we would've.
Couldn't resist the playground, though.
And so glad we didn't...
Off we go!

We're so excited to visit with close friends of ours tomorrow. We haven't seen them since they came to the hospital after the twins were born!
For now, we're enjoying the Phillies game on TV (it's a nail-biter!!!). Steve is organizing/editing pictures from Ashley's wedding and I'm putting the finishing touches on my lessons for the week.
