Well, this was a long weekend. Little sleep was had by all.
Our 1 year olds are struggling with teething. Josiah spent a LARGE majority of the weekend tottering around our legs, fingers in his mouth, drool dripping down his chin. Lilly would just sit there and whimper. Poor kids.
I've been having so much fun (but jeez, it is work) creating nutritious meals for the little ones. They are such good sports and love everything. Tonight we had steamed butternut squash with light butter and brown sugar, steamed carrots, peas and grilled teriyaki chicken. It's a challenge to change things up and keep things interesting for them. There are still many things they can't eat, but grilled cheese also ranks among their top 5.
Lilly is moving more every day. She's very fond of standing and "walking" with you, and is laughing openly and more frequently instead of just her shy smiles.
Josiah is more of a monster than ever. He's so fun, but into everything he's not supposed to be.
Life with them is never dull!
