Pictures of the little things...

Pictures via mobile:

Jay was trying to hook arms with Lilly but clocked her in the head.

Looks like we still need to work on our fine motor skills.

Post feeding. Very, very sleepy...
No pictures, mommy!

After his 1 pm feeding today, Josiah vomited his whole 5 oz bottle, soaking both of us and the kitchen floor. Good thing all three of us needed to be washed anyway....

Post vomit. Feeling happy although he wasn't too excited about laying on Lilly's blanket. I swear he calmed down once I moved him to his. Weird...

My beauitful little Lilly
Blurry, but couldn't resist posting that smile. She looks so mischevious....

Toes of Steel

I wish I could say that the days have settled into a predictable routine. Most days it's still a crazy race to get everyone changed, fed, clothed and settled only to do it again an hour or two later. Steve and I have had lots of help which makes this all do-able and lets us maintain some sort of sanity. I am trying not to be anal about the house, but it still really bugs me that we have laundry thrown everywhere in our room, dishes (primarily bottles) that need to continually be washed and sanitized, floors that need to be vacuumed and bathrooms that require attention. Cleaning requires some creativity. I can pick up all kinds of things from the floor with my toes now that my hands are rarely free. I swear even my toes are getting stronger.

I HATE having people over when things are chaotic, but it all really boils down to a matter of priority. Some days I go without sleep to get it done and other days I sleep as much as possible and just do the bare minimum. I've resigned myself to the fact that all I can wear at home are old t-shirts and sweatpants due to laundry shortage and vomit episodes.

As I write, Lilly is on the floor spinning herself in a circle as she kicks and waves her arms. I can't believe how strong they're getting! Both can hold their heads up for at least 30 seconds...I love that they are more curious every day. I was feeding Josiah earlier and talking to him when all of a sudden he looked straight into my eyes and grinned. We have the smartest kids in the world!!! :)

Here are pictures via phone:

Me and my little man
Lilly in the "magic" corner. Both babies LOVE sleeping on their bellies in this corner between our couch and stairs. It's a sure-fire way to get at least an hour nap out of both of them.

Finally sleeping...look at his gigantic hand! That boy is growing before our eyes! Maybe he'll play football???
