Landscaping at Mom and Dad's House

This summer we've been helping my mom and dad with the landscaping around their house. Here are some pics I took today as I finished the LAST of the stones. WOOOHOOO!

Cute birdfeeder
Handmade chairs (notice the amazingly laid stone behind them!)
Back of the house/sunroom....Steve, Trevor, and Emily dug out this hill, hauled, and dumped many wheelbarrows of stones. More foliage will be planted...
The hill that almost killed Trevor. We are glad he survived. This hill is A LOT harder to mow than it looks. Poor Steve beasted it in the heat of the day...
Deck area
Cool birdbath
Main entrance (they laid the walkway stone and then we hauled matching redish stone for around the plants, etc.
They also painted the shutters and garage door a brick red...very nice!
Even with all the stone we laid, you can STILL see the big pile in with the wheelbarrow in the corner...
Trees dad planted, new stone, extra sod in corner (the trees in the back yard-way yonder- we also dug out and surrounded with stone)
Street-side view of house, stone slabs outline the landscaping...we also covered this area with stone...are you noticing a theme here???

What if Cheerios were "Seerios"?

What if we spent the time to find a thousand words for each picture?

What if the color green was called "barf" and we never bothered to color the grass or trees?

What if the "right" thing to do was always the easiest thing to do?

What if we still said "oxter" instead of armpit, "galimaufrey" instead of leftovers, and "pilliver" instead of pillowcase?

What if we smiled when we slept? Would we be laugh more when we're awake?

What if rain tasted like your first kiss?

What if I used a bunch of big words? Would I be smart?

....and so,

What if Cheerios were made of an "s" instead of an "o" and you had to listen to your cereal hiss at you every morning?
