The Best Dog
I found this picture as I was going through some picture albums on my computer. I know it may sound corny, but it brought tears to my eyes. This is a picture of Gidget and I last fall.
Gidget is a pure breed beagle that we got as a puppy about 5 years ago. She came to us just before we moved to Iowa. I swear that she was part human. Although we loved her very much, she was happiest around people, and between me moving to college and moving away and then Emily moving to college, she was lonely. My parents are out of the house most of the time, so they made the decision to give her to neighbors of my grandparents. They have two small boys who LOVE her. My grandparents see them taking her on walks all the time. I know it's for the best, but I do miss her.
Now we have Jack and Milo! We love them so much and they bring us tons of smiles :) See the new pictures we've added below.
