It's Different This Time

I didn't realize it was New Years Eve.

Things are so chaotic for us, it's hard not to let every day blend into the next. This is one of the reasons we keep the blog. It's a way for us to record all the little things (especially with pictures) we'd otherwise forget.

Although they've been far more exciting New Years (we're currently organizing the closets so we can make a storage unit run tomorrow) it's nice to be home together, watching movies and enjoying kid-free time.

Lilly, Josiah and I are all sick again. We keep passing among the three of us and short of ripping the house apart and disinfecting everything, I'm not sure what to do. It's so FRUSTRATING! I've never been sick this often in my life and we hate seeing the kids cough, sneeze and snot their way through their days and nights. Hopefully things clear up before work on Monday...

We STILL haven't had Christmas with my side of the family. They're all battling various sicknesses as well. We have plans to get together and celebrate on Friday, which feels far away, but it'll be something exciting to look forward to.

Happy New Year, everyone! Be safe and have fun!

Hanging out with daddy

Plastic bags are the best toys (supervised, of course)

As they get bigger, they get to try more and more foods. On tonight's menu: steamed mixed veggies, whole what pasta and taco chicken.

Yes, they loved it. And yes, they made a MESS.

This child loves to vacuum.

Lilly loves taking all the toys from the toy box...

Lilly Ballerina

You may be wondering why there haven't been any picture of Josiah lately. If you know him at all, you'd realize that it's because the man NEVER STOPS MOVING. You may think we over-exaggerate, but we don't.

Thankfully, we have a SUPER cute little girl to take pictures of when he's not cooperating :)

Family trip to Lowes...
This is how we ride.

Knot blankets are the BEST

Three years ago, as a wedding gift, my two best friends made Steve and I a knot blanket. Knot blankets are fairly simple to assemble, incredibly warm, and come in a variety of colors and designs. They. Are. Amazing. To me, they're a sign of love and friendship. Thanks again, girls!

We hope you've had an excellent Christmas holiday and wish you the best in the new year to come. It's hard to believe the twins are over 11 months old!!!

Just hanging around...

Stop messing with me! I'm trying to eat!
