I'm amazed how the babies continue to grow.
It's like watching rare and beautiful flowers bloom, their tiny pettles slowly twisting and turning.
Steve and I gave both babies our colds. Although it was virtually inevitable, we're sad for their runny noses, congestion and coughs. I can't say that they're miserable, but they're uncomfortable and tired.
For both of us, this week has seemed never ending. There are moments when I feel completely prepared and on top of things and others when I'm scrambling just to make it through the day. Like anything new, our schedule takes some getting used to, and although it does make the weekend times together that much more cherished, I feel so tired and in need of an exotic vacation (or maybe just sleep) to take the edge off the chaois.
My dad is currently in Africa, and will be for a couple more weeks, visiting the orphanage his church and a couple others sponsers. I think of him and hope he's doing well as communication is infrequent at best.
Ashley, one of our dear friends, will be getting married in a few weeks. We are SO EXCITED to be a part of her special day and to visit with friends we rarely have a chance to see.
My grandpa's health continues to improve. We are greatful for every day of strength.
Jack and Milo contiunue to be amazing little furballs. Too bad they don't make the blog as much as the babies :)
