Autumn

Last Thursday, Steve and I flew to Indiana to take part in and celebrate our friend's wedding (CONGRATULATIONS TO MR. AND MRS. JOSHUA HENRY). It was a beautiful weekend! I can't wait to upload pictures for you, but they're all on Steve's computer since we needed the space on our memory card.

Steve was able to Skype with his mom and the babies more than I was since the girls and I were running around trying to take care of last minute errands for the big day. I was especially excited to be able to see the babies on Saturday evening while we Skyped on the hotel's spotty internet connection.

After we disconnected from Skype, Brenda reported that Lilly was very sad, so I sent her a funny picture of me on the phone.

She tried to eat it.

Even though the mornings are EARLY and the evenings are full of interrupted sleep (ever since they were sick) the moments we are able to spend with them after they wake up are precious. We snuggle in bed together (mostly trying to catch a few more seconds of sleep) and play.

As the weather becomes chillier and the sun sets earlier ever day, we love to bundle them up and take walks for as long as possible in the afternoons.

I love when Steve sends me pictures of the babies in the morning.

Every morning, the babies are allowed (seriously, they LOVE IT) to watch an episode of Sesame Street and/or Sid the Science Kid.

This morning, the babies are wearing their Halloween pajamas from Aunt Michelle. Josiah's are a little big, but still SUPER cute!

Since Josiah's been pulling himself up on EVERYTHING, we have to watch him more carefully whenever he's playing on his own. Recently the gliding ottoman has become a favorite place to stand and play. Especially when Steve's feet are there to tickle!

Over the last several weeks, Lilly has become more outgoing and playful. She's an incredibly sweet little girl, but she never like to wrestle like her brother did....until now. She let's off this high-pitched squeaky laugh. It's addictive. You try everything to hear it again and again and again.

My favorite picture.

My parents were able to visit yesterday.

Caught this one of Lilly and Pop-Pop...
