A New Project

(The color of the baby yarn is rather distorted. I am working with a pink color, but I couldn't adjust the lighting in the house to capture it accurately.)

Brenda (Steve's mom) is showing me how to crochet.... alas my crippled and sore hands! Thankfully, she's assured me that I am halfway past the worst (or most frustrating) part. I am starting a blanket for Lilly. Ever since I found out I was pregnant, I've wanted to make the babies something, but wanted to wait until I met them before starting anything. So far, my blanket looks NOTHING like any of the expertly created ones I've seen, but I'm still committed to seeing this project through. I'm not sure how much time it'll take me to get one done, let alone two blankets, but I'm not putting a time restraint on myself. It gives me something productive and meaningful to do with my hands while I wait for them to come home. Although the babies will probably get these blankets sometime next year -haha- it's something I can do for them...something they can save and remember... even if it's not perfect.

Josiah and Lilly took all three of their (daytime) bottles while Steve and I were there. YEAH!!! You could definitely tell a different in their stamina from the first to the third feeding, but we we'll take any sign of a step forward. Josiah had one brady (as far as I can recall) but it was minor and self-resolved. Thank goodness!!!

Here are pictures!!!
