Thursday - Day 12

We woke up this morning, exhausted from our long day in DC yesterday, and did a whole lot of nothing. Beth made pancakes and eggs for breakfast. We went to the local "Internet Cafe" to check a few things online (because our slow internet up in the cabin isn't sufficient for everything). We uploaded a ton of pictures to Shutterfly, checked on some name-change info for Beth, got caught up on some blogging, and just generally hung out. The place was cool - it was basically the downstairs of a house downtown. They had a dining area (tables setup if you were going to eat dinner), a room with a few computers for the public to use, and a "lounge" room (a small living room with a few couches and a coffee table) where Beth and I hung out. A neat experience - we'll probably go back again before we leave. It was great to get to hang out (we had the "lounge" room to ourselves) together with other people around - nice to hear the sounds of people on occasion.

We came home and got dinner (the cafe closed at 5pm so we had to leave) and then went back out to Movie Starz. We got two movies (I don't recall the titles at the moment) - both were pretty good. While we were watching the movies, we put a good dent in our list of "Thank You" cards we need to send out. We brought all of the cards from the wedding with us so that we could take time to sit down, read them, and write thank you cards back while we're away.
After that, we went to bed so as to be well rested for our trip to Monticello in the morning.
