It is so wonderful to be together in our own house. I am not sure whether it is a woman's nesting instinct that drives me, but I suddenly find that little things like curtains and making the bed everyday are important things to me. It may wear off, like having a new car and vacuuming it everyday, or having a new haircut and actually styling it for a week in a row. For now, I love the little things that makes these walls our house.
Steve has been great about working around the house. I hear that most wives nag about home repair stuff, so I've tried to be careful about balancing my excitement for things to get done, with the fact that he comes home tired everyday and has stuff that he needs to take care of that is more important than putting a new dining room light in for me.
