Well, it was time to leave our cozy cabin. We thought that we would wake up around 9, pack and be out by 12. Unfortunately, we received a phone call earlier that morning that said we needed to be out by 11. It was a rush to get everything together, but we did it. As we were leaving, the cleaning ladies were parked in a van. I don't' think they were happy that we took the time to take last minute pictures with the cabin. Oh well!!!
I was really restless on the way back. It was a four hour drive, but felt like a million. I needed to stop for a bathroom break (right away), so we took the next exit. Unfortunately, there weren't any restrooms OR places to eat for miles. We were about to give up, but we finally found something. We agreed on Quizno's and while I ran to the bathroom, Steve held our place in line.
We were on the road in no-time. It was a nice drive. We decided to create a T.V. show about a mail truck that burned and the letters that people were supposed to receive and how it changed their lives that they didn't. It would be cool.
It was GREAT to walk into our house! It looked wonderful. Steve's mom had cleaned it for us, so it was all sparkly and smelled good. We basically dumped our stuff everywhere and opened our presents and relaxed.
It's always good to go away, but better to come home.
