- Winnie the Pooh
We are filling our fall days with as much outside time as daylight will allow. Now that the twins are older, walks and time at the playground are so much more fun. A recent milestone is their ability to carry on conversations with you about significant things in their lives or things that they notice all around them. Josiah still talks about the "shish ashh" (scissors) and how I trimmed his hair. Lilly identifies and says the sounds of 90 out of the 100 animals in her animal book, getting especially excited over the cow, lion, and sheep.
Baby three is 7 months "old" and as strong & as active as ever. Even now I feel him moving and flipping around. The twins were never this active (probably because of restricted room). It feels like I have really bad gas or something, but it's just him bumping and turning and stretching. It's painful sometimes, but I don't mind.
We had been planning a second scheduled c-section with our OB for several reasons, but at my last visit this week, she strongly recommended "traditional" labor and delivery. Steve and I talked this over extensively. It's always easier to do what you know and not step into the unknown. I have strong thoughts and emotions on it, but ultimately trust the wisdom & education of my doctor. There is much to do before his arrival...
We just returned from a very pleasant day at my parent's house and then at my grandparent's house. While we're exhausted, it's always good to spend time with everyone. The kids were great today and managed to stay awake the entire trip home. This made bedtime very easy with only a minimum amount of I'm-so-tired-please-don't-make-me-put-on-my pjs tears.
Final thoughts for tonight:
I hope you treasure each moment with the ones you love and forgive the wrongs of the ones you don't. Life's just too short.
