Pilates, Pregnant, Twins
In order to regain strength, stretch my sore muscles and prepare for labor, I purchased a "Pilates for pregnant women" video to work out at home. I never have time to get to the gym anymore. My body's been incredibly sore and slow recently, so I thought I would try this alternative. Plus, let's be honest, I hope to get ride of the baby weight as quickly as possible.
This morning, after the kids were changed and had a few Cheerios, I started one of the five 10 minute routines. I LOVE the workouts, but trying to do them with two kids who think you're dancing and want to join along or climb all over you is a challenge. I don't think I got 4 minutes into the first one before they needed a drink, needed more Cheerios, wanted to sit on my lap, wave their arms in my face, etc.
I tried again after breakfast, but I'll have to try another time. They were both pulling up my shirt to kiss the baby and kept trying to catch my feet as I swung them up and down.
And they were laughing at me. Hysterically.
