SUMMER

My newest gamble has been a milk glass serving bowl purchased from Shopgoodwill.com, a convenient website designed to compile donated items to bid on. The experience turned out to be surprisingly pleasant. Description of this 1920's vintage piece was accurate, price reasonable, packing and delivery on time. I love milk glass for it's smooth and simple design. I'm proud to own this piece and hope to find more to add to my collection!

Steve and I are continually amazed at the progress Josiah and Lilly make every day. I love the sounds they make... as if they're pleased just to hear themselves and proud to communicate with you.

Playtime!

Sleeeepy babies

Lilly's always so excited when you talk to her. She'd be content to stare at your face and make noises all day. What a happy baby!

Trying to poop!

Hanging out with daddy

Grannie B....always such a help!

Our schedule has saved us. It seems that during these last couple of weeks, the babies have stayed on the same kind of cycle. It's SUCH A RELIEF! I do wake them up and play with them throughout the day. Lilly is pretty consistent about sleeping through the night (11 pm to 6-7 am) but Josiah is always hungry so he sleeps less. We'll be offering him rice cereal sometime this week to see if that helps.

I wish I could be looking forward to a cruise and camping trips this summer like last year. I'm so happy to spend time with them, but it does make other things quite restrictive....especially if we purchase the house we're looking at. What on earth will I do with them all summer? I'm also INCREDIBLY excited for their first Christmas. I can't wait to see what they think of the tree and all the lights!
