I read a quote in one of my magazines today. They had a piece highlighting couples who have been married for 50 years or more. One man commented, "You wake up next to the same person every morning and you think, 'Oh god'. And then you think, 'Thank goodness'."
No one is perfect. There are days when we get on each other's last nerve, but we're happy together. Being pregnant has definitely given me a new appreciation for the way he takes care of me (even though he told me the other day that I get to carry the grocery bags again once the babies are born).
