A couple days outside!

This weekend and last, we were able to be outside for a little bit with the kids.  They enjoyed being outside just as much as we enjoyed letting them! 

Everyone is still recovering from being sick – it’s amazing how much of an impact that has on everybody’s energy levels.  Josiah is back to sleeping all night (they had each been waking up coughing and just generally not sleeping well for a while).  Noah keeps getting up around 5am, and Lilly is a mess – she’s up constantly, banging on the door and screaming, insisting someone sit with her until she falls asleep.  Obviously Lilly’s routine isn’t sustainable and we’re trying everything we can think of to get her straightened back out.

Yesterday, we got to the park a little later than we would have liked but still had plenty of time to play.

 

Josiah tried hanging on the big spinning things and then we tried it together…

After a while, Josiah turns to me and says “Daddy, let’s go sit down for a little bit” and then lead me over to the picnic tables.

 

After taking pictures of him, he declared it was his turn to take pictures of me.  Then Lilly came over for her turn…

Beth tried to take a picture with the kids and they decided to do more silly faces.

 

We let them run out on the fields for a minute to get any last-minute energy out before piling back into the car.  All 3 of them took off running!
